In this course you will sew your own lined pencil skirt. This is a follow up course to the SKIRT SLOPER CLASS or if you couldn't attend that class, you can work with a bought pencil skirt pattern. This course will deal with skirt construction - waistband, lapped zipper, kick-pleat vent and lining as well as all the hand-stitches needed. On Friday, we will cut the fabric (both fashion fabric and lining) and prepare everything for construction. If you need a fitting then you will have some homework on Friday basting the seams for a quick fit on Saturday morning. Saturday is spent sewing the skirt. Whether you finish the skirt or not depends on your sewing tempo. Eventually I can offer an extra class for the final finishing whoever may need it.
